Michael leads our HomeLegal team and has been a Partner with the firm since 2006. He is one of the region’s top residential conveyancing lawyers. He has a particular interest in educating young lawyers and real estate agents on conveyancing practice. Michael is often approached by real estate agencies for advice on dealing with complex issues. He is a member of the NZ Law Society Property Law Section Executive Committee.
Michael’s areas of expertise include Residential Property, Commercial Property, Commercial Leases, and Real Estate Law.
Apart from his work, he loves travelling the world particularly with his camera in hand. If there is wildlife in view Michael will be taking photos. Michael is a fan of both the Wellington Phoenix and the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL.
Michael’s approach to law is centred on finding practical solutions that allow the parties to move through the legal process as smoothly as possible. He is a proud father of two.
